Terms of service
Last updated 22 September 2026
These terms cover your use of JobsiteBoss at getjobsiteboss.com. By creating an account you agree to them.
Who you are agreeing with
JobsiteBoss is operated by Garret Marshall, doing business as JobsiteBoss. Where these terms say “we” they mean that business; “you” means the company that holds the account.
What the service does
JobsiteBoss helps a contractor price work, send that price to their customer, record what the job actually cost, and keep track of crew, equipment, customers and schedule.
Prices are calculated from rates you enter — your wages, your machine costs, your material prices, your margin. The trade catalogs ship with starting production rates that are estimates, not measurements, and the app labels them as such. Correcting them to match how your crews actually work is your responsibility.
Estimates are yours, not ours
Any estimate, quote or price produced with JobsiteBoss is your own commercial document. We do not set your prices, review your bids, or warrant that a number is correct, profitable or sufficient for the work described.
We provide arithmetic and record-keeping. Judgement about what a job costs, what to charge, and what conditions to attach remains entirely yours — as does any contract you form with your own customer.
Your account
You are responsible for who you invite to your account and what they do with it. Roles let you limit what each person can reach; setting them appropriately is up to you.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think somebody has reached your account who should not have.
Trials, payment and cancellation
New accounts start with a free trial. No card is required to begin it, and it ends automatically — we do not charge you when a trial expires.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe, who handle the card details; we never see or store your card number. A failed payment gets a short grace period before access is suspended, and you are told when that happens.
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access for the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part-used periods unless something has gone wrong on our side.
We may change prices, and will give notice before a change affects a renewal you have not yet paid.
Your data
Your estimates, customers, jobs, rates and everything else you enter belong to you. We store and process them to run the service for you, and for nothing else. We do not sell them, and we do not use one company’s figures to inform another’s.
You can ask for a copy or ask us to delete the account. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Availability
We work to keep JobsiteBoss available and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose — particularly a bid you have sent to a customer.
Acceptable use
Do not use JobsiteBoss to break the law, to send anything you have no right to send, or to attempt to reach another company’s data. We may suspend an account being used that way.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, a job priced wrongly, work won or lost, or other indirect loss arising from your use of JobsiteBoss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
Either of us may end the agreement. If we end it other than for misuse, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Arizona, United States, and any dispute will be heard there.
